Since 1992 Merry Ann Blanchard has sold real estate with Taylor and Taylor Realty Co, which was then known as Prudential Taylor & Taylor Realty Co. Todd Taylor offered her a scholarship to real estate school. This began a great career. Starting food basket poor she has blessed many clients who turned her real estate business into a huge success.
She moved to the Oregon Coast in 1986 as the Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce executive director having served in a similar position for Monmouth Independence. Prior to chamber work she taught art and English on both the high school and college levels and even invented a school called Art Start where she taught young children the joy of creating art. She has been a television hostess for Valley View in Salem and worked as a fund raiser and been active in both her church and other community events. She went through Carnegie Sales training and found out sales was a way to serve people and as a result a little artist became a realtor. She is still an artist and does water colors and portraits and wonderful sketches.
